Participation in the 2025 Charlemagne Prize Award Ceremony

On May 29, 2025, the German city of Aachen hosted the official ceremony for one of Europe’s most prestigious honors — the Charlemagne Prize (Karlspreis).

This year, the award was presented to President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen for her contribution to strengthening European unity and supporting democratic values.

The ceremony was attended by prominent politicians, public figures, business leaders, and heads of state. Among the distinguished guests were King Felipe VI of Spain, as well as representatives of European governments, international organizations, and the diplomatic community.
