VeloLiberty. Day Seven. Krakow

Day Seven — May 5, 2025
Krakow

Today, I spent the whole day in Krakow. I wandered through the cozy streets of the Old Town, taking in the atmosphere of history and beauty. This city feels like a living, open-air museum.

Must-visit places:
The Main Market Square — one of the largest medieval squares in Europe. It’s always lively, beautiful, and unmistakably Polish in its warmth.
Wawel Castle — the historic residence of Polish kings, standing tall on a hill by the Vistula River. The views over the city from here are fantastic.
Kazimierz — once a Jewish quarter, now a vibrant district filled with cafes, art galleries, and incredible character.

In the evening, I stayed at a wonderful spa hotel called Bliss House, where they kindly offered me a place to spend the night.

Krakow is a remarkably beautiful city — with its medieval streets, hidden courtyards, and peaceful charm. It’s the kind of place where you naturally want to stay for a couple of days to soak it all in.
