The next stop on my route is the capital of Slovenia — the charming and cozy Ljubljana.
This city pleasantly surprises you from the very first moments. Here, historic architecture blends harmoniously with modern cafés, green parks, and well-kept riverfront promenades. It’s also incredibly convenient to get around by bike. Ljubljana has excellent cycling infrastructure, with plenty of dedicated bike paths and car-free zones.
The atmosphere in Ljubljana is calm, friendly, and at the same time full of life. You’ll hear music on the streets, see street artists at work, and locals are always open to a chat with travelers.
This day in Ljubljana became another reminder for me that Europe is not only about big capitals but also about smaller cities with their own unique charm and warmth.
